October 2017: Round table with Dr. Stan Brouns

Dear alumni, We are proud to announce a new round table event at which you get the chance to listen to an eminent speaker in a small and intimate setting and ask questions. As we all agree to keep what was said inside the room to ourselves (Chatham House rules), everyone is free to express themselves.

The speaker is Dr. Stan Brouns, a renowned expert on CRISPR/Cas genome editing and microbe/bacteriophage interactions, topics which are almost daily in the news. Dr. Brouns has been contributing to public discussion rounds and his presentation titled ”How microbes keep their CRISPR memory up to date“ will be aimed at non- experts. Further details on his work can be found on his homepage: https://www.brounslab.org.

Please register by replying to Johannes Hohlbein (j.hohlbein {at} gmail.com). The event will be limited to 12 participants.
